Winter travel information
Arlberg and consequently Zürs are easily reached from any direction. There are excellent train connections to Arlberg from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Regular flights are available to Zurich and Innsbruck, which both offer excellent connections to Arlberg by rail or by car (rental).

Travelling by car
Motorway vignette
Austrian motorways are subject to tolls. Vignettes are available at the border, petrol stations, post offices, tobacconists, from your automobile association and Lech Zürs Tourism. Currently applicable prices for motorway vignettes are available at asfinag.at/maut/vignette.
Particularly on Saturdays during high season, drivers are recommended to plan their trip so that they are using the sections between Feldkirch-Lech and Imst-Lech before 9:30 a.m. and after 2 p.m. For the return journey, traffic jams are likely to occur between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Drivers should be aware of possible heavy snow on the roads in winter. Winter tyres are obligatory. The carrying of snow chains is also recommended as these are also obligatory in the case of heavy snow.

Hotels in Zürs offer sufficient parking spaces for their guests. In addition to dedicated underground car parks and parking spaces, public parking spaces are also available:

Travelling by train
Langen am Arlberg railway station: 15 km | regular taxi and bus connections (line 91) | transfer time approx. 20 minutes
St. Anton am Arlberg railway station: 20 km | regular taxi and bus connections (line 92) | transfer time approx. 30 minutes

Local bus and Ski bus
In addition to the circuit for skiers completed at the end of 2016, a modern bus system also provides convenient connections between Lech, Oberlech, Zug and Zürs and to Alpe Rauz, St. Christoph and St. Anton am Arlberg. This service is covered by the Ski Arlberg ski pass.
